Peru & Bolivia Adventure – 15 Day Inca Trail & Machu Picchu

Join us on the Peru & Bolivia Adventure, an unforgettable journey through incredible landscapes, cultures and ancient wonders. From the streets of Lima and Cusco to the Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu, this trip is packed with unforgettable moments. Explore Inca ruins, colourful markets, Amazon rainforest and Andean culture the Ultimate way.

Day 1 – Lima

Bienvenidos to Lima. Meet your group and leader and explore the coastal Miraflores district. Included: Lima orientation walk.

Day 2-3 – The Amazon Jungle

Fly to Puerto Maldonado and travel by motorised canoe to a jungle lodge deep in the Madre de Dios. Guided treks and a night river tour with the chance to spot monkeys, macaws and caimans. Included: Jungle lodge stay, night boat tour, half-day trek.

Day 4 – Cusco

Fly to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Acclimatise on a guided orientation walk and learn to make a Pisco Sour. Included: Cusco orientation walk, Pisco Sour demonstration.

Day 5 – Sacred Valley

Travel through the Sacred Valley, visit a local community and market, and continue to Ollantaytambo to prepare for the trek. Included: Community visit and lunch.

Day 6-8 – Inca Trail, Quarry Trail or Train

Choose your route to Machu Picchu: trek the legendary Inca Trail, hike the quieter Quarry Trail, or enjoy extra time in Cusco and take the scenic train. All routes include expert guides and spectacular Andean scenery. Included: Guided hike or Cusco stay with train.

Day 9 – Machu Picchu

The highlight of the journey. Arrive at the legendary citadel via the Sun Gate or by early bus from Aguas Calientes, and explore on a guided tour before returning by train to Cusco.

Day 10 – Free Day in Cusco

A free day to relax, shop for souvenirs, discover local cafes and markets, or join an optional adventure activity.

Day 11 – Travel to Puno

Journey across the Altiplano to Puno, gateway to Lake Titicaca and Peru’s folkloric capital.

Day 12 – Lake Titicaca & Homestay

Explore Lake Titicaca by boat, visit the Uros floating islands, and enjoy an authentic homestay with a local family in Llachon. Included: Boat tour and homestay.

Day 13 – Back to Puno

A home-cooked breakfast with your host family, more time around the lake, then return by boat to Puno.

Day 14 – Travel to La Paz

Cross from Peru into Bolivia and travel to the vibrant high-altitude capital of La Paz.

Day 15 – La Paz

Your adventure ends in La Paz. Explore more of the city if time allows before your flight.
