Game drives, wildlife and national parks define this unforgettable 17-day overland adventure through South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Track the Big Five in Kruger, glide through the Okavango Delta by mokoro, and marvel at the mighty Victoria Falls, all alongside a great group of fellow travellers.

Day 1 – Johannesburg

Arrive in Jo’burg for a welcome meeting and group dinner.

Day 2 – Khama Rhino Sanctuary

Cross into Botswana and visit the Khama Rhino Sanctuary for a sunset game drive.

Day 3-6 – Okavango Delta

Travel to Maun, then deep into the Okavango Delta Pan Handle. Explore the waterways by mokoro, spot wildlife on a bush walk, and camp under a sky full of stars.

Day 7 – Gweta Sundowner Bush Walk

Drive to Gweta near the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans for a sundowner bush walk with a local guide.

Day 8 – Chobe National Park

Explore Chobe, home to huge elephant herds, buffalo, giraffe and lions.

Day 9-10 – Victoria Falls

Cross into Zimbabwe to Victoria Falls. Orientation walk, free time for optional adventures, and a traditional Zimbabwean dinner with music and dance.

Day 11 – Hwange National Park

Explore Hwange by open 4×4, home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations.

Day 12-13 – Matobo National Park

Travel via Bulawayo to Matobo, famed for rhinos and dramatic granite hills, with a free day to explore the Matobo Hills.

Day 14 – Tshipise

Cross back into South Africa and relax near the Honnet Nature Reserve.

Day 15-16 – Kruger National Park

Head into world-famous Kruger for game drives and a full-day 4×4 safari in search of the Big Five.

Day 17 – Johannesburg

A final morning safari before returning to Johannesburg, where the trip ends.
